Keep crashing when creating new folder??!!

My 1000 keeps crashing everytime i create a new folder on the internal hard drive, i save all projects into individual folders in a larger "projects" folder. The problem occurs when i press enter after naming the new folder, the MPC completely freezes, leaving me the only option of turning it off and then on again. My MPC is new too, and its doing my head in!! Can anyone help me out here???

It's a known bug that Akai still haven't remedied.
Either, make your folders before you start work so you always have some empty folders to use.
Or
Get the JJ OS, which I am told has fixed this problem (though I haven't tried it yet). Check the JJ OS forum on this very website for details.
