usb upload max Mb's

i remember, reading the original manual for the mpc1000. on the original os there was a max of 5Mb upload per time. is this still so??????
because sometimes samples are corrupt (wrong file or no sound coming out in audition) wav's on my mac sound like they should..... but on mpc..... you get the point. am i missing anything? or should i make 5mb packages to upload???

im using 4.xx (upgrading on a daily basis!)

no such limitation as far as i know

I did really heavy transfers and the omly problem I can remember were linked to the Akai OS. I can't remember such bugs with JJ's OS.

i had this problem with some particular software, wich put metadata into the Wav file. then, strict wav player such as the mpc, won't read it. convert them to wav again with PCM wav, 16 bit 44.100 htz.
