recording midi tracks from triton sequencer into the mpc1000

hi all and thanks in advance, what i am trying to do is transfer my midi sequences in my triton to the mpc, i use to have the 2000xl, and it was simple to record 16 seperate midi tracks into the mp, without recording each one separately but its different using the 1000, can i still do this on the 1000....
