I am considering purchasing an IBM 9GB SCSI internal hard rive from SCSIforSamplers.com. Will this work with my MPC 2000XL ?

I've got an external 9GB scsi hard drive for my 2000XL. It has ten partitions with 895.5 MB on each one. I've been told that the internal hard drives can produce a lot of heat and cause problems. I think it can be installed, but an external drive is better IMO. Probably the best thing you could do would be to install a multicard reader instead.

Internal Cf reader is always a good idea IMO. As for the harddisk, install it in an case and connect it via the external scsi port of your MPC.
