That's what's up. Everybody comin through with the deals. I can afford to pay retail for this piece, but I don't know if I can come to grips on spending that much dough on a drum sampler, sequencer, try as I might. I will say that this MP is a completely different beast alltogether from the 2000/2000xl. It's like it somehow manually chops your sample for you. I feel like, "what do you need me for then?" It's also greased lightning when loading things up. Can't wait till they get the OS stable, I've already seen two bugs. But this thing's crazy!

That price is crazy. But you know your buying a machine that everyone pounds away on the pads when they come into the store....straight abusing those mp's. Then after you had it for a year you can feel that wear and tare. Then you pads are looser then a crackhead hooker! But that is a dope price son.

Man, I know. So far so good though. I'm still rackin my brain on whether I should get that 2 year warranty they offered me for $119. I got 30 days to decide. With all the problems people ae having with theirs on this board I might have to make that move. Even just having this thing for a couple of days, I could see there's a few kinks that need to be ironed out. Akai did good ironing out the problems with the 4000, but I wonder if Numark taking over is going to have any effect on them getting the bugs on this machine worked out.

I'm at a dilemma then... I found a 2000xl studio plus for 899, plus 90 for a 2 year full insurance plan at Daddy's. Then i saw they had a 2500 for 1499 used, but in mint box condition. Hmm... I thought these were great prices, but now I might have to wait and search some more...

Do you guys think I should get the 2000xl for 900 (or less if I can bargain it down?)
