Grid edit event editing?

So where did the option of "event'' go from the old grid edit 4.1xx ? this is how it first looked..


then since 4.3xxx it is changed with the following..


where did the event button go? i really liked the option where you can set the timing for an individual event but i guess JJ has hidden it somewhere..

it kinda irritates me that everytime you get a bit used to the new options there's something new.. i guess i won't be updating the whole time unless there's gonna be some final OS

you have to have overdub set on, i'm pretty sure that makes EDIT appear or somethign like that when you've over a note.

if you want to go to that screen, like ant said you have to press overdub, then move to an event and press shift + up arrow to modify it.

yeah at last looking at the JJ tutorial i got that.. i don't like this.. for example you got overdub hit on and you want to edit your events and you accidently press a pad an event is being recorded.. blahhh! guess i'll just have to learn how to work with it..

i didn't like it at first, but now i barely notice it.

something about overdub having to be on before notes can be recorded.
