MPC2XLmcd Buggin out.. need advise...

I purchased it brand new last month. Been bangin out tracks with no problems. I use it to control Reason (drums are samples in the MPC) and midi it to an MBoxII.

Every so often i lose the midi connection. Also, i noticed last night that the overall volumn of the MPC was way low. I restarted it, and the volume and midi is back up and fine.

Any ideas?

Try Re-installing the O/S & see how that goes.

Does this stuff happen at random or is it only happening when you're working with specific pgm's ?

Pretty random.. I'm re-installing the OS. I've downloaded the file to a flash card.

I went to the Akai website and low and behold the 2000xl download page doesnt tell me what keys to press to re-install.

can anyone help me out. thanks

just load the .bin file with the OS as usual with loading samples.show the directory on the card and it should work just fine
