you can resave the file as a regular MIDI file to read in your PC sequencer of choice.... if you want to have the computer playback the samples you will need some sort of software sampler to load the samples into or else have the sequencer sending the MIDI data to the MPC. (probably you could just paste them into your DAW but that sounds like a headache compared to the mentioned options above) like I said before, this is unique to the individual user, their workflow and their studio setup so I don't plan to go into specific detail....

SPDIF would be great for routing the audio signal if you have that option on your computer or mixer.....

i think ya'll are making it more confusing than what it is.

it sounds like dude needs to just run a cable to his input on his laptop and record

once you can successfully do that, then start reading about tracking out into a DAW software.
