Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I was just wondering if on the Blue 2000XL with the MCD, can you load a whole folder of samples at one time instead of individually. I currently have a MPC1000 where you can load up a folder of samples, I was just wondering was the Blue 2000XL the same way. Preciate Fellaz. Lik

Use mpc editor to automaticly assign a whole folder of samples to the pads then save the pgm file in the same dir, all this happens on a computer mind you. then hit the card into the mpc and load that pgm, couldnt be easier..

Mpc-editor is no freeware mind you, but it's well worth the money. Asking for serialz = getting banned.

Yeah I understand that with the MPC Editor, I used to use it, but on the MPC1000 and MPC2500 instead of assigning samples to a .pgm, you can just load a folder to the memory, then go through the samples while hiting the pads to choose the ones you want. Was just wondering if the 2000XL is the same way. I already have a 2500 but I got someone selling me a 2000XL Blue with Compact Flash Reader for $250 working, can't go wrong. I prolly will sell it, but I was just wondering that about loading samples. Holla Young Lik YIC.

nope the only way to load a whole bunch of samples in one go is to put them in a pgm. 2k(xl)'s date from another era

Download and read the manual on what possible ways to load.
