hmmm...it's not just a question of OS updates. The hardware has limitations too. Maybe the Adress bus and Data bus were not designed to handle more then 128MB.

If you are talking about the Operator's Manual....it is not in it. I find that the manual for the 1000 is not as complete as the one for 2000XL.
