Yeah..I have the JJ OS installed....my son was just asking me what is wrong with the MPC because of the way the new screens have so much information squeezed into them...

JJ broke this function long ago and has yet to fix it. To use tap tempo, you have to enter the pad mode menu and assign tap tempo function to a pad...

That was very helpful....
Anyway...I had to re-initialize my MPC 2500 (MPC 2500 that is) to get tap tempo to work. I haven't located where you can turn this function on/off. Also, the Go To function doesn't seem to work..although I never use it anyway.
