Ay yo, Mark Skillz on the check in. I see there are quite a few knowledgeable people on here ...I been checkin topics out and have been impressed.

My iomega zip and my floppy drive have both crapped out on me. I want to get a CF Card reader but I have no idea none whatsoever as to what the **** I'm doin as far as installin one of them mugs. Where can I get one installed at and for how much?

And just as importantly how can I get my sounds back? I'm, thinking I may have to pay the 20 bucks for a new zip drive - ain't no thing I've had it for seven or eight years. I miss beat making

Yo peace to the both of you for acknowledging me much appreciated...yo here's my question though - the upgrade with the CF Card Reader can that be done with a plain old 2000? I did all of my other upgrades to it: memory, 8 outs but after reading about the upgrading of the CF Card reader I'm like, nah, that's a bit over my head...I know it can be done with the 2000xl but , my 2000 can it be done with that?

No internal cf reader in the 2K classic, at least not without serious (expensive) hardware modding. You can go for an external scsi cf reader though.

WORD?????? You got a picture or something of that? So something like that can just be hooked up like the zip drive right? no detailed modifications have to be made then, right?

Just google for a picture. Its external just like the sczi zips. Plugs right in the back
