thanks man.

really now, who's using the akai OS? if you are, you have to try the JJ OS; it's just thought out a lot better with more functions...the workflow is alot faster.

The 1000 and 2500 JJ OSs are still different. Perhaps the 2500 doesn't have this feature yet. What's strange is my tap tempo has
worked fine on v5, but others seem to be having problems.

I noticed when i installed v5 jj TAP tempo worked fine, after a power down I had to turn it back on, MODE pad 10 F2

I am still awating a password, but this is the only info i recieved:

A password is sent to a paypal account address.
Please let know your paypal account address.

Read a million times, but cant figure out where to get the password from? Is it being sent to my email acct?

The password gets emailed to the address you have registered to the paypal account you used to pay with.

hey rozzer, is the save bug fixed on this os? or do you have to still do "save entire memory"?

What bug is that? I've always just used 'save entire memory'.

a paypal account email is tyhe email address you provided when you signed up to 'paypal' the international online payment method - very handy for buying stuff online.

if you dont have a paypal account, you might have to pay by credit card, (and probably provide the email addres you want the password/code sent to after the creditcard transaction)

ive been sleeping on this JJ OS for a bit. so does the chop shop chop in stereo and is the oldskool 2kxl bpm detection included?

i no im asking to be flamed here but reading through the endless bullshit in some of these 'JJ OS' was just tedious

okay so im enjoying the new os, however i have a couple of questions that i hope you guys can help me with

firstly - if i power on and go directly to the "record" screen my max sample time has dropped from 1 min 02 sec to 41 secs, i have turned autoload off but am unsure what else would cause this....

secondly and more importantly (because 40 secs is plently of time) when i load up a project file that i created previously (on Akai os 1.22) and enter the "Track Mute" screen it seems as though alot of mutes/unmutes have already been recorded, for example before i press play i mute the kick and snare as soon as i press play they unmute << is there anyway to remedy this aside from remaking the sequence

edit: i solved the track muting problem....i went into step edit and found some renegade track mute events......they have been banished to another plane, still concerned about the missing sample time tho.

any help would be greatly appreciated
