I just finally plucked up the courage to try JJ instead of the standard akai os and WOW!
The only thing which is causing me greif so far is when I try and use the grid edit there seems to be quite a few things I don't understand or bugs.
Firstly, is there a way to select more that one event to copy or alter, in the akai os this was done with the shift key but that doesn't seem to work with JJ OS?
Secondly the edit button to alter the velocity and position of events, this seems to appear on F5 instead of mute when and event is selected, however it only seems to appear every now and then, am I missing something or is this a bug?
And finally in 6 pad view when I go beyond the 6th pad only the bottom line changes rather that the whole track list scrolling like I would've expected, is this normal?
And finally a couple of not grid edit questions:
Is the only manual the one on the JJ os site which you have to run through the google translater, is there not english version?
Secondly every time I boot up it now it says "New OS Version 5.01", I thought this message was only supposed to appear once after the os was installed or is this normal?
Many thanks,
Tom (patiently waiting for JJ to wake up and send me my password)
