s3000/MPC60 compatibility

So MPC60 disks work in the MPC3000 and vice versa. And the s3000 sampler is the same engine as the MPC3000, right?

So can the s3000 read MPC60 disks/sounds?

No ... The S3000/S3200 ( and XL version of same ) don't read MPC60/MPC3000 files.

The similarity in "sampling engine" between the S3000 and MPC3000 does not extend to file format support capability similarities between each.
