Post HardDisk Installation - Question???

I just installed a HardDrive in my 100 about 2 wks ago. I have been having wierd ish happen ever since. For example file not found errors, wrong file errors, and the lastest I was trying to save a new program I created ans when ever I would create a folder to drop the program in the damn thing would lock up. After turning it off and on, I saw tat the folder would create, but I of course I lost the program cause I did not get a chance to save it.

Does anyone else have any hellified testmonials?

Using the Akai OS, the mpc1000 will often freeze when creating a new folder to save to. It's a known bug which still hasn't been resolved by Akai.
Either, make your folders before you start work so they are already there to save to or, better still get the jj OS which has solved this problem.

THanks, yeah that is what I was going to try next either making it on the computer or MPC before I create the program. Is this only an issue with the HD? Cause it has never occurred with the CF Card.

Is the JJ OS stable in comparison to 2.1?

Ive not had it happen with the CF card yet but I tend to just use the HD.
I think some others may have reported it with the card.
Do a search for NEW FOLDER BUG and see.
