Switching to MPC4000 from MV8k

Hello,

I'm considering to switch from MV8000 to MPC4000, but I don't really know what I would be getting myself into as I'm not familiar with MPC products... I did some research, but there are still lots of questions unanswered...
Let me first tell you about my current studio setup:

MV8000 (workstation)
Muse Receptor (hardware VST effects processor)
Nord Modular G2 (digital modular synth)
StudioLogic VMK-88 (Midi controller keyboard)

If I swapped the MV with the MPC, would my studio be able to work seamlessly together? If you have heard of any of the equipment I mentioned above, would the MPC improve/worsen certain aspects of the production?

Things I like about the MV:
1. VGA/Mouse support
2. 8 audio tracks for resampling
3. Independent EQ for each part/instrument and audio track
4. Transfer a .WAV file to PC, resample, bring back to MV (although a slow and tedious process)

Things I don't like:
1. Slow audio/sample load times. Transfer times via USB are also a bit slow.
2. There's a SPDIF bug on the MV, and it can't digitally resample through Muse Receptor
3. The whole combination of sampling, sequencing, and experimenting doesn't feel intuitive and smooth as I would like it to be... maybe that's because I'm used to DAWs in the past...
4. My creative aspect has suffered since I switched from DAWs a couple years ago. Again, it doesn't seem intuitive and smooth. It's like I have to go through several steps to accomplish one little thing.
5. When experimenting with parts/instruments, it seems tedious to assign/reassign different samples to different spots in order to see how they fit within the mix. This is a huge creativity breaker for me, because it takes several clicks each time (and I have thousands of samples).

Considering the things I mentioned above, how does the MPC4000 compare? Is it worth switching? I would appreciate any pointers.

I am oposite - I sold my MPC4000 out and I am considering to by MV8000, or 8800.

In MV->MPC, you will loose:

VGA output and ability to connect monitor and work on machine with mouse. In MPC4000, you have ak.Sys, which allow you to upload/download samples banks anf files from and to MPC, you can manage/organize banks from PC. But no more. On MPC, you must do sequences directly on the machine, or at computer's sequencer. You will loose that 8 stereo "audio tracks", MPC is not able to stream from hardrive to outputs bypassing RAM. Also, MPC have pattern-style sekvencer only, does not have linear sequencer too, although you can have whole song as one looong pattern.

You will gain:
Sound quality, MPC4000 is 24bit/96kHz, MV is "only" 16/44. MPC4000 have EQ+filter on each channel + 4 multiFX units, MV has only EQ on each channel + 3 FX units (mutiFX + reverb + chorus).
