yeehaww:)
is there a physical size limit to the OS rom?
can it forever expand?
has it got any cute friends???:):)
ya think maybe the JJ may be able to eventually link
EVERY function that would benefit from qlink connection?
i mean-cant the sequence record most midi controller info
already?(for external gear)-
doesnt seem like too big an issue to map all our controls/functions to the
sliders/midi cc etc- maybe another layer of functionality to the pads/buttons to enhance the performance factors (like multiple controls of different events simultaneously?)
??
damn,that was some good smokin....

i think he did, in 4.36, if yer tracks are midi, the 'q-link' Fkey becomes 'control' which seems to map the qlink to transmit ant cc control in the grid edit screen. just havent tested on any outboard stuff yet, but its happening here on my screen.

but yeah, i agree, lfo rate/depth/type, as controlled via qlink is a must.
fx params should be next on the qlink list of targets too.....
fx sends can be qlinked right? in a way - i mean if u have 'record mixer events'=on, then wab the qlink faders around when in the 'mixer (fx send levels) mode', the send values will be recorded right? havent tried yet tho'.

if we get this, the mpc turns even more into a sampler synth from within the sequencer.

as it is, now , we can do that all elusive realtime timestrech, qlink - sstart pos, with note repeat set to 32/3, and the sample hit while fading qlink-sstart - up through the sample to make it any length.......but its dead crunchy unless you have env attack at say 2 or 3 to soften the monophonic retrigger of the wave.......
but if 'qlink-note on-loop pos' was also an option, this too could smoothly allow us to do any custom timestretch stuff.
just tought it might me nice to see if anyone would use this feature?
i think it may be unacheivable, since there seems to be a lot of issues with mpc's and fukking about with slightly more exotic sample reading methods other than fwd/rate - i mean hell, it cant even do live fwd-rev or ping pong looping, or realtime loop modifications outside the 'trim' mode.

this is the kind of talk i love to hear

check this out, so if there were more default events available - like curves, fade shapes etc here where it mentions the inserting a default event, by pasting into the qlink midi - that would be a good performance edit tool.
