Problems with samples from MPC to PC

i am using an internal zip drive for my mpc and a usb zip drive for my pc.
when i put a zip disk from the mpc into the pc drive in order to play the samples, it plays all samples in much faster tempo.
even though it is in wav format.
every thing is played at almost double speed.
tips, anyone?

Check the sample rate of the samples with your pc software and audio interface. Usually 16bit 44.1khz are fine on both mpc & pc.

Make sure your pc audio interface software is not locked to a certain sample rate.

give more details on you situation. you might need to open to files with a better program on your computer that can handle different sample rates. the MPC usually runs at 44k though, at least mine does... you might need to resample the wavs when you get them into your PC to make them easier to work with. try 44100 hz, standard cd sample rate.

i'm using adobe audition and it works with 16 bit / 44,1khz.
the mpc does too.
so therefore i cannot see where the problem could be.
maybe because the disks are mpc formated?

if you can open the files, it is probably not the formatting. are you sure the sample rates are correct? maybe the MPC is somehow writing the files to a different sample rate, yet still reporting them at 44.1 khz.... double check a) on the MPC itself and b) in finder or some other little app where you can see the file parameters (itunes or winamp or something)
