Sample Pitch AND Speed Too High When Loaded In MPC

Has anyone ever Loaded A sample into the MP and when previewing and loading it the samples pitch is extremely high and it plays Too Fast. When i go into the trim mode and check the params its tuned to -120 so i can't slow it down. I filtered the sample using Soundforge and resampled it to 8000Hz And Checked the Apply Anti-alias Filter During Resample. I also Used the paragraphic EQ with the preset Anti DTMF Talk-Off. The sample plays correct when playing it back on my computer and in the mpc editor but when i load the sounds in the mpc either using mpc editor or just loading sound by sound i get the pitch error, anyone know what i did wrong?

an mpc reads 16bit 44khz wavs.

Thx alot it resampled it to 44.1 and now it loads perfectly.
