Hello,
I'm about to buy a sound module next month, and I would like you guys to give me some advice in the choice. I mainly produce hip-hop and r&b. THANKS

A planet phatt or mophatt has great sounds, but lack a lot of basic sounds. It is more suited to drum sounds and one shot type sounds with only a few realistic multisample type programs. An xv 5080 will give you a good starting point for r&b where you have to focus more into progressions and arranging.

If you bought one I would cop the dance (kind of similar to a mophatt), and keyboards of the 60's and 70's expansions for it ASAP. Great sounds.

I have a MOPHATT and Love the thing......It is very useful for background noise and it has alot of sounds you can make some nice tunes with. I like it.

just my 2 cents
