Hello everyone,
I am having a problem with my MPC3000 and iomega 250 zip drive. Each time I try to load up a disc, I get an error message saying that the disc has some damaged data (or something to that effect). I tried to load it several times, and I got the same error message. I ended up rebooting several times... Finally, by the 5th time or so, it worked.
So I quickly ejected the disk (thinking it was a bad disc).. and I loaded up a new disc in the zip drive, to format it. When I tried to format it, it started out fine, until about 20 seconds into the process... at which point the zip drive made the clicking noise that is usually makes when you load up a disc (i.e. when it recognizes the disc). At that point, I got yet another error message saying that this disc cannot be formatted (or something to that effect).
Can someone please help? Is there anyway I can troubleshoot this? Or can I get my zip drive repaired? I am located near Los Angeles.
Thank you.
