When I jog the wheel to chage from floppy to the scsi zip drive my MPC tells me to Wait......... and thats it nothing else happens, for over 2 hours now!!

I have a zip connecting via usb to my pc and i loaded some drum sample from my pc to the disk then removedthe disk and placed it in the zip drive connected to the MPC... also if i unplug the scsi lead from the back of the mpc and then plug it in again it says SCSI - 7 as a device but i plug it back in it says no disk and if i try to do anything else it just tells me to Wait........ again. Anyone know whats up?

BTW be patient its taken me four years to get this far

has your SCSI device worked in the past? do you need a terminating doodad at the end of the scsi chain on your MPC? maybe the connector interface has just gone bad, can you take it to a computer hardware store and try a new one (just call up a shop and explain the problem to see if they mind you bringing some gear in)?
