Mpc , Synth, Two Module Set Up....

If I have a karma and two modules hooked up to the mpc via midi could i record those midi tracks from the mpc using the individual 8 outputs into my pc or can you only do that with drum tracks?

And Another thing is, I've had the Karma and Mpc set up for a while and am familiar with midi'ng the karma to the mpc, but when it comes to sound modules, ive never messed with them before. Ive been told how to and this that and the other thing but im still a bit confused. If i have multiple sound modules, would i be able to trigger each sound module off the mpc if i midi them all together using in out and thru on the mpc and the sound modules?

Sounds like your hookup is right, the only thing about saving with sound modules is you would have to save the name of the sound on the track that its recorded on the mpc.

Yah man I've been working on that manual for quite some time now. Its a bit hard when disabilities, I guess they would be called, kick in. Im not the well of a reader when it comes to actually understanding what I've read so it probally takes me twice as much time as the normal reader if not more.

But from what you just said, it looks like the 8 out board will solve all my problems with recording to my pro tools to mix down and master the individual tracks of my beats. Thanks much on your time and help.

Just to make sure there's no confusion here. In order to record your Karma and sound modules you will either need a mixer or soundcard with enough inputs for all your gear. The 8 outs on the MPC will only output the sounds/samples in the MPC, not audio from the Karma/sound modules. If I misunderstood your post then go ahead and disregard my reply. I just wanted to make sure that you understood that midi does not transmit audio. Good luck.
