how to seqence in da 2000xl

im kinda confused. ok if i have 4 bar loop of some drums and i want to lay down a 8 bar piano do i have to put it in song mode and convert it back to a sequence or do i start off with a 8 bar loop

either one could work.

personally, i'd hit edit(f2), then bars(f2)
then first bar: 1
last bar: 4

after bar: 4
copies:1

and then your drum loop will happen twice, 4 bars each, so 8 bars, and then you can do your piano over it.

You can copy all of the tracks from your 4 bar drum loop into 8 bars by pressing edit(F2) then bars(F2). In the bars screen you would make sure it says first bar:1 last bar:4 on the left side and after bar:4 copies:1 on the right side of the screen. After you do it, your 4 bar drum loop will be made into 8 bars.

can u keep doing that tell u get the whole track just by going to edit and changing the bars
