I just picked up a 3000 and have mostly figured out my work flow, but I had one last question. I've decided to load many small programs up to the 128 sound limit and then pick the best one for the project I'm working on. My question is; if I want to then add sounds to this program while I'm working, do I then scroll through the other loaded samples and assign them to pads or is there another way like auditioning them from their respective programs? If I scroll through individual samples, I guess I have to name them all (808kik1) and not just number them sequentially so I know what's what? Lastly, should these samples be organized by kicks, snares, hats, etc...by naming them alphabetically or just kept together with their kits?
Any help would be appreciated, I'm just trying to set up the best way to do things.
Thanks,
Chris
