LOOP TIMING IN A 4 BAR SEQUENCE?

Just got my mpc 500 last week, my problem is when i try to make my beats in a 4 bar sequence the last beats in the 4th bar dont sync properly to make a smooth loop when the 1st bar starts again.
I cant make the beats i want coz the 4th and 1st bars when looping are either too close or too far.

Please someone help/advise?

I figured out why i had this problem, it might be the same for you.
The beat i was trying to lay was either too fast or too slow for the tempo set on the mpc, i had the same problem when looping samples.
I slowed my beat down or sped it up to match the tempo and it worked! a perfect loop! it was the same with samples but they can need to be made longer or shorter.
