cut and slice with zones in 2000?

I see that on the 2000xl one can cut samples into zones and play them back on the pads. how do i do this on the 2000 classic?

well dog i hate to sound like anyone who has ever been on this forum but you seriously need to read the manual. if you dont have the manual i can give you the link to the one for the 2000 classic. its real basic.....trust i asked too finally i was like **** it and i just went at the machine....play around....press buttons...load a sample and play around with the edit menu........it might take u 2 minutes or 2 hours after u play around and learn more of shit than youve ever thought of or read about which is vaguely in the manual somewhere then try again i'll then help you out if im on this still but you'll probably find out that and more by navigating the menus and doing basic functions that are all covered in the manual.....hell by the time it took you to read this you could have found out


shit and its not like it is on the xl u might wanna get that manual for the classic if u dont got it ask

I got that manual already. What do you think of the 4000?

ok. I just don't want to have to keep buying equipement. I want a one stop piece and the 4000 seems to be it. It is very pricey though. That's why I will probably just try and get the XL for now..baby steps...lol
