Motif Sound Mod to MPC

So If I have my asr-10 playing the sound mod via midi then would I just set my Mpc to midi track? and record and it will record the midi note and just play thorugh the sound mod?

Can somone just clarify for me...

I'm a old school guy trying to learn about the advantages of sound mods

The answer is yes....Your MPC can drive alot of MIDI sound modules...If your module is Multi Timbral (which the Motif is) your MPC will send MIDI data on different channels, and play several (or more) sounds at once, allowing you to build a song with many tracks just using the MPC and the Motif...,..
