EB16 board and 8 out board compatibility?

Hi,

I saw an add for a S2000 with the efx board and the 8 out board for a cheap price. I don't want an S2000 since I got the mpc2000XL but I really want the eb16 board. In the add it just states the efx board. Is this the same eb16 board that'll fit the mpc2000xl?

Also I thought the 8 out board for the S2000 isn't compatible with the one for the mpc2000xl. Is this correct? Can this board be modded to fit the mpc? Does this means I need to chop off a piece of the plate and get a longer cable?

pretty much. you should try to find a cable extender is possible. i think otherwise you should be able to mount it. they do work though, i've tried it.

Aight, I got myself the eb board on ebay. Won the auction last night, contacted the seller but so far no reply. I hope I can have it soon since I'm really really excited about this card...
