Ok, I'm going to go off on what I'm into doing on my 2500 these days. First off, I bought an electric bass guitar a few weeks back. This was one of my smartest musical instrument purchases to date. **** sampling a bass line. I'll sample myself playing to a beat I just programmed. Play it as a loop, chop it up or pick out single plucks, anyway you go it's all your playing. That makes me feel happy. Secondly, I replaced the pickups in my guitar with noiseless ones. It now has a hot output and zero hum and/or buzz. Again, sample myself and it makes me feel happy. I also just picked up those M-Audio IE-30 reference earphones. They make the samples I just recorded of myself sound nice and it makes me feel happy. Also, for a very small amount of loot, I snagged a Digitech RP350 which is an amp modeler/multi effects/footswitch/expresssion pedal, which is a swiss army knife(a very cheap one) for guitarist. So I'm using the RP350 as a preamp for recording electric and bass guitar directly into the 2500. So it's like I'm using my 2500 kind of like a digital mutlitrack....and it makes me feel happy.
