bug - bug-qlink set to a pad simulted to another pad effects both

1 - load project
2 - set a sample on A01 and A02
3 - set AO1 to simult-trigger A02 in mode/pad11
4 - hit mode/pad01
5 - set A01 to REALTIME TUNE
6 - hit A01 while moving the qlink
7 - BUG - both A01 and A02 are effected by the A01 qlink.

doesn't the fact that simult makes every parameter for the 'host' pad transfer to the 'slave' pad?

'bug' (if that's what it is) confirmed though.

perhaps the option as to what data to simult would be nice, so you could have the option of simulting with tune and without.

if that were true if you put a filter on pad A01 it would apply to the simulted layer too, wouldn't it? unless i misunderstood

well, i guess it's that the samples are the start in the chain, and the tuning of the sample is part of that beginning. the filters come later, perhaps that's why they're not affected. perhaps the fact that the filters don't link with simult means that that is the bug, rather than the tuning being linked. i dunno, it would be nice to have the option as to what is linked with simult.

haha 2000xl people would crucify you for that one.
to many drum simulters the point of simult is to apply a filter to one pad and not the other so that you can lowpass 1 sample while letting the other one stay the same. likewise you could increase the attack of one and let the other one maintain its original setting.

if the filter linked the way that qlink data links, the user might as well put the samples on the same pad in the 4 layers...you follow?

the point of simult is to broaden the sound without applying the same changes to both.
