Higher MIDI Resolution? - More than 96 ppq - Possible?

Would it be possible to increase the 96 ppq to maybe 480 ppq or so?



Wouldn't that make sense, so finally people could stop doing songs with "double" bpm rate?

And it would be much better to record midi parts like piano melodies and stuff like that!


Any ideas, suggestions?

i'd still use double res cuz i hate having to wait sooooo long for the click start before recording in normal time....

haha yeah but then i don't have ENOUGH time.

damned if i do and damned if i dont
i'm very used to the double res 4 click in that lasts half as long as normal res
if i switched, i don't know what i'd do with the extra time
start knitting? write a novel?
