Is it possible to have stronger pads fitted ? antonym ?

I know - there has been loads of dissucssion on the pad issue - but my pads are still working - its just that they feel too soft lately - like fragile on verge of splitting if i hit them harder
Now the rubber for the 2500 pads feel more like the old mpc's - tougher & long lasting - so surely we can get this somewhere - what about companies like Forat ? do they make better pads ? could they not sell a kit ?

the rubber itself is not going to split, break, or have any problems. i have never heard of that. what would/will go is the pad sensor.

most other mpc pads actually have a softer rubber than that of the 1000.

the softer the rubber, the better pressure response.

i am not selling the kit yet, but believe me, you and everyone else will know the second it starts happening. trust that any time i take making sure this works will be worth it. remember, i'll be using it too. so you'd best believe i'm going to make sure it's good.

How about some hardware replacements like the plastic dial for something a bit heavier that makes a nice click like on the old s1000 samplers etc ?

damn i guess its probably better to sell the 1k & get the 2500

it would be illzilla if you could get something like the 500's pads, i gotta say they were pretty nice, it was similar to the 2000xl, being soft able, but it wasnt broken in, the downside though was it just felt as though i would break the machine by hitting the pad hard to get different velocities... i think the 1000 most definately would be absorb all the abuse
