dont you think you should mention on the petition that we only want them to release a pad solution in the form of an unique sheet like both mpc 500 and 2500 have

since the creator of the petition did his research and mentioned the interlink electronics thing i think that would be clear, at least to me

but like another poster i agree that akai probably will sleep on this.

as much as i'd love to see an interlink pad setup, i doubt it'll happen.. minimum orders from interlink run soemthing like 60,000 units which would be well over $200,000 in manufacture, and i doubt akai would be able to sell 60,000 pad upgrades...

Antonym, all the research was from your post. Anyways, I was thinking that even if AKAI doesn't take any action, at least maybe an aftermarket company wil take notice of the market and offer a solution.

I think I have a lead on this with my 2 dead pads on a 2 hour old MPC.

I think Akai should get back to me personally and apologize + flowers and buttkissing. I am seriously pissed off at them for not having done a recall on this batch. It unforgiveable.

can't you return the unit? it must be covered by warranty.
