Cheep or defective pads sensor....?

Had my mpc for about 5 months now... dealing with the bugs I could handle.......but when I took my mpc into the music store I bought it from for repairs on pad 13 (not responding) I was questioning my perchace......today I got a call saying my mpc is ready for me to pick up ....I asked what was the problem and they say one of the pad sensors was broken...... now honestly ....I m not a fukking gorrilla here smashing my machein like i dont know that hitting the pads hard enough will result in full level!!! I bought my mpc2000 when I was 17 and I bashed the living piss out of it and never in my life time had a pad problem .... now I go out spend some serious money take care of my machien cover it up at night be super gental hahah ....and bam A PAD BREAKS?

well ....got my machien back gonna check how things work out...but I m starting to wonder why the pad broke.....it was pad 13 I rarely used it ......I m really really worried this is gonna be a regular thing and when my warranty is up 125 bucks fix pads all the time is alot......Akai was a solid company...now that numark is in the mix I feel like when I first started djing and it was I either grabbed a numark mixer or a solid vestax ..I grabbed the vestax because of its duribility ...thats what I expected the same from akai/numark but now I m not toooooooooooo sure anymore about anything .....its not that I m freeking out or anything but when I buy a sampler/sequencer equal to a proper downpayment on a car I would hope shit would be sturdy as a rock

ok.....things are good ...things seem to be fixed and running well! hopfully I will not have to replace anything like that in the near future!
