i dont have any extra ram or anything.. and it seems like my sample time has gone down from 2 minutes to 1:30..

not BIG deal really.. but those extra 30 seconds could be nice


please dont rant about the sp12 only having 10 seconds of sample time

it's possible some extra RAM space is required to implement new features. this would cut into your available sample space.....

haha yeah i know bro - i can only have 1 song on my mpc at once right now. im doin a lot of USBing

i got a steady job now so i'll have some ram soon :)

doesn't this OS cut into the internal memory?
i remember the notes for this OS said that with the increase of notes from 100,000 to 300,000 saving sounds to internal memory was disabled.
guess this cuts into your sample time as well...

Maybe someday we can have different versions of the OS to suit our different needs (ie more notes or more sample times) but until then, just get the extra RAM.

i think it was saving sequences that was removed, sounds an programs can still go to the internal memory iirc...
