Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Is there a way so I can trigger multiple samples, but as I hit one the other one stops. Much like one sample does when it is set to mono.

yeah yup. it's in the manual, but since you aint look yet, I got you.

assign your samples to the pads that you want to use. now open the editing screen for one of the pads. In the editing screen where you'll find your options for the decay and attack, you'll see in the lower left hand corner the word poly. swith that to mono. once you highlight and switch that press your window button. the next screen that appears is your muting options. you can select 2 other pads that will mute once you hit the pad that your are editing. sounds confusing and sorry i dont have the actual steps to list, i aint got my manual or mp in front of me. hope that helps.
