Hard Drive question 4 MPC 1000

ive had a mpc 1000 for a while and barely knew they sold hard drives 4 it. i bought an 80 gb, now the question is how do i safely install the drive? i know computers pretty well, but i dont know how to install hard drives on a mpc, can someone help??

Did you buy the Akai HDM10 hard drive mounting kit? Comes with complete instructions. Can't do it without that.

didnt know i needed a mounting kit, just bought one online and the toshiba 80gb hard drive also. when i get it hopefully all my questions will be answered.
