I dont think this is down to the OS because i had the same problem when i was running the official OS , however everytime i set FX onto my pads, after saving the program, sequence and samples and switching the machine off to return to later only the amount of FX that is sent to each channel is saved and not what actual effect is to be used. This isnt a major problem as once i select the correct FX that i was using the amount that was being sent is still there and the number of FX eg FX 1 or 2. Just wondered if anyone had had similar problem.

It's too bad JJ's OS doesn't change this (yet -- I hope he will), it's like this on the original Akai OS.

This took me awhile to figure out too, but it's actually buried in the manual - check out pages 106/107 in the PDF.

To store effects, you need to save an .ALL file. You can also save the entire memory, which also does the trick.

yeah true, its ok though, because you can load individual elements - such as fx,seq etc....- from an ALL file.
