Black MPC1000 Vs. Blue MPC 1000

is there a difference? I have heard the Black is built better - is this true?

maybe.

I've had both & believe or not I prefer the blue - i don't know what it is - it just feels better - the black one feels a tad cheaper. Its like when the mpc2kxl first came out - it felt slightly more heavier & solid than the later blue models.

Make of it what you will but it seems like the more akai progress the cheaper the production value.
The blue & red came out in 2004 & I much prefer working on that than the black one - we have both in the studio at the mo i go for the blue whenever its free.

ok i messed with the options on the search feature and i found a couple threads... MAN yall are HILARIOUS.

It's because people would rather ask stuff taht is so simple rather than to use their own noodle to search. It's like they don't even care to look for it thinking that it might be there already, there are alot of people here and most likely it has been asked before, not all the time but most of the time. The easy way out is not always the best way out.

Elitist, nah, I'd say people here are ALL for the poster of a thread to use his/her noodle. Not elitist, just I think people need to ask themselves stuff more instead of asking the next person something so simple. So yeah, you might get clowned. You might not.
