yes, i truned off the timer becuase it was messing up my count... but you are sayng 1/16... i have that count also 4/4
like when i get it with a double stoke it plays something else

i though maybe i had to change some other type of function

a lot of times you are hitting the pad twice accendentally it happened to me a whole lot just gotta work on it takes time to work on it and if your doing a sample I usually use the timing on (later) and (1/32)

that happened to me when i first started. whenever i used one finger to hit the pads everything would double. i just used to fingers to hit the pads. but now everything good and i can control the doubling, its kinda useful actually

you have the time signature set to 4/4, which is the time signature for most western music ... at least the pop stuff. Timing is a function that auto corrects your hits to the nearest note ... so if it is set to 1/4, it will put your hit on the nearest quarter note; 1/8 will put it to the nearest eighth note ... and so on.

Just set your timing to 1/16 or 1/32 and listen to the clicks. Try to follow the clicks. Practice is key.
