take one freshly turned on, empty, MPC1000
press mode + pad7, you should see 'Program 01' at the top.
press Window then F3 then F5
repeat 24 times.
it displays the warning: 'Prog. directory full(24 max)'
now press F4 (cancel)
now press F4 (close)
it says 'Program 25' at the top of the screen.
now press window then F2 (delete) it will ask if you want to delete program 25
press F5 (Do it) and F4 (Close) and it's still there!!! wooooo! scared?

another weird thing:

move the data wheel whilst Program 25 is selected, and it'll disappear until you go to delete something else when it will still appear in the 'Delete Program' window.

anyone else?

Any ideas why JJ OS creates these? It's not a big bug (or great feature :D), but neither necessary.

not sure really, i guess it's to provide an empty program for you to fill with samples. i agree they shouldn't just 'appear', except when you create a new program. it gets confusing otherwise.
