hy,
by making programs on blue-box, i always get into troubles.

i guess it has sometihing to do with the "assign pad range" - function,
wich is asked for every time, i load a sample on a pad.

my goal is to load 64 samples (one per pad in 4 banks ) but if i end up checking it on my mpc, -
it works on bank A and B - mostly, but bank C and D have pads with all the same sample, in different tunings.

like i said, i don`t understand the "assing pad range" function, and whatever i choose there, i end up having problems.

someone might knows what i am doing wrong ? would be a huge help.
- thanks

this is nearly what im getting. I can only load samples onto the first 15 pads, the 16th pad and b and c and d dont work -it says "missing file"... grrrr

the thing with the missing file does not happen to me, but its as well a pain in the ....
i now try to do the same using a mac, with mpcpad187
- gonna tell ya what happend there

I don't mess with bluebox that much anymore. After I installed my 100 gb hard drive, I just make programs by hand (very easy and fast too). Like I said, Bluebox has issues - it's old and hasn't received an update in years.
Sorry I wasn't of help to you Jon.. :)

... once again, a mac programm beates a pc one.
i started mpcpad187 on the mac, and it worked straightaway.
so, anyone with access to a mac: my advice, try it there.
it has possibilitys to load samples to a slot in the program-window, from there you load it to a pad,
when you press on a pad (with the mouse, of course) you hear the sound on that pad, (wich is not the case in bluebox)

you can open several instances of the program,
very useful to me, i downloaded several programs, wich are only using the first bank, so i open up two instances and start dragging over samples to banks B C and D .
to me it looks straightaway as much better than blue box.

One clarification - if you hold down "ctrl" while you click on a pad in Bluebox, you can hear the sample you dragged into it. But I agree that Bluebox isn't that great (bugs).
