Does anybody know what functions the new Akai 2.61 Sys offer from the 2.60 and if they have been successful downloading it so far?

ak.Sys V2.61 for Z4/8, S5/6000, MPC4000 has been released with the following improvements and bug fixes from V2.6.

1) Improved the speed at which the browser updates items that have changed.
2) Improved the feedback from the ak.Sys to the user when doing time consuming tasks like creating folders, deleting files and clearing sampler memory.
3) Drag and drop Memory (or Multis, Programs, Samples, MIDI Files) folder into Mac's desktop and you get the error "The file/folder: Memory already exists" even though the folder actually doesn't exist on the desktop. (Happened Mac OS10.3X only.) --- fixed
4) Empty folder is dragged after canceling overwrite. --- fixed
5) In Pad editor, "Sense" field is blank and not working. --- fixed
6) Drag vertical scroll bar in search box and scroll samples causes "Exception Thrown error" sometimes. --- fixed
7) "Windows" selection in top menu bar is now active to select editor and browser.

hey all,
im using 0sx 10.3.3 with the latest ak.sys and keep getting this error on large transfers,im backing up to my mac:
.error received zero length file from sampler.
any one else get this problem???
it only happens on some folders, but the folder causing the errors loads fine internally.
and if u drag all the files insted of the folder they transfer fine .
which is all right if u want to back up a few songs but 20gig............zzzzzzzz

Yo Kabb, did ya see this on the akaipro website?
To download an OSX disk image (.dmg) in browsers other than Safari, you should press and hold the ALT key when you click on the download link - the file will download as normal. Some browsers might prompt you first before the download begins.

Thanks for the info on using Safari. How about the EBFX folder transferring to the MPC?
