question about old style 2000xl

i installed a card reader in it a while back using compact flash what's the biggest on i can get that my cpu and the mpc will reconise that I can install lots and lots of drums on

I have 1gb compact flash cards with O.S. 1.20

I believe some have said they can get 1gb to work with O.S. 1.14 if i'm not mistaken.

my main thing is I don't want to run into an issue of not having enough space I mean I'm getting better and making beats daily I just brought a 1 gig but I'm saying if that's not gonna hold a lot I'd rather make a bigger investment now

also you can get more cards. get a few 1BG cards. i have 3 cards for my 500.

i do a lot of loop samplin and a 100mb zip disk held a whole lot of songs.

i haven't even come close to fillin up my 256 mb flash card.

flash cards are cheap now so no need to worry about space unless you samplin entire albums or somethin.

durin xmas i bought 4 - 1 gb flash cards for $25 each.

i have a 2gig card on order, should have everything running 2morro...
the 2 gig cards work ok with all this?

I've got 2 1GB CF cards only because I found them for like $20 a piece. I've got like 20-30 songs on one card and I only used up like 100mb. A 1gb card is going to last you quite a while. Even a 512 is plenty of room.
