what do you guys think

Is it just me or does the direct record feature seem kinda sketchy?.... just wondering if the audio traks available in the jj os improve a great deal on this idea or what>>> really just haven"t gotten around to switching the os over yet. thanx for any feedback

Yeah I'd say they were a definate improvement, although I haven't hammered them much. The way you can record different takes and select between them is nice and the general layout is much friendlier.

I just tried the jj tonight. You have to see it if you haven't yet. I had a problem changing tracks. They have two places for the track number. It got me confused at times.

There is a latency in the direct record on the akai os. Haven't tried d.r. on the jj.

I havent had any latency problems using direct recording on the official os
