Hello everyone, props for this educational site, there so much to learn, i will be here many times to come. I recently bought a mpc 4000. About cd-rom drives, which cd-rom drive is recommended for the mpc 4000? and what type of memory is best used to upgrade the mpc 4000? Thanx

about the ram can i upgrade whit any type of ram or it has to be akai?

About halfway down is probably all the answers you are looking for. And no, you do not need akai memory, it is just common cpu memory, but check on what has worked for others as I'm sure some memory is not compatable.
