I do not see any sense in sharing samples on the internet, I mean why should I share "unusual" and "inspiring" samples with you, I only share those things in my crew or with people I know personally...especially when it comes to the sampling-issue the secret weapon is "originality"

i only give out sounds like kicks, snears, hihats, ect..

but not record names, loops (made by my uncle he play piano, guitar, drums, bass) so i keep original shyt to myself.

no that's not just the technical side of sampling, the only thing referring to anything technical was the sampling through the left channel part. what i meant was that if you gave ten different people the same 15min free jazz joint, you would most likely have ten very different beats.

i couldn't give a fck whether you or any other faceless internet person respects me or not. i've been playing and making music all my life, the mpc is only something i've been doing for a few years, and i only make beats for the fun of it. unlike most people in here i couldn't care less about shopping my beats.

and really, i love souls of mischief for example, but what are their beats if not just loops and breaks and loops and breaks?

and don't give me none of that "sure, but it ain't 94 no more".... i bet people said that same shht in the eighties as well, "come on man what's with you and that 70´s sound, don't you know it's the eighties now? get with the times, ain't nobody want to hear that same sound anymore..."

and then everyone turned in their rhodes for a synthesizer, and their drum kit for a set of electronic drums..

I generally don't share samples with anyone outside of my crew.
I will "trade" sources of samples with other peeps, but they gotta put me up on something before I put them up on something.
Now when I started digging I owed a lot to older dudes that showed me the ropes and certain records to buy and stuff,
so each one teach one,
But at the same time, everyone these days seems so fast to take without giving back, so I only share with a select few.....

honestlly.... there's nothing out there that will be just yours,
i know there's many records out there and all, but eventually soemone one will have it or find it, it may not sound like yours but it will be the same sound whetaher you like it or not,

i dont really care about sharing samples be we all have a diffferent taste in music and we all have our own compositions and they will not sound the same in less you BITE and i think if you share with your friends you have more or a chance of you r friend BITEN it then someone on the net yu dont know cause there there comp will sound much different.

i dont up load sounds anymore cause i dont have the capability to do on my comp any more + it's just a hassle.

but i dont give a fuc i'll give you guy's pix of all the records i find and dig, you make what you will and i'll make what i will. i got my sound you got yours RIGHT?

the chance somebodys gonna actually remeber what you tell them is slim. the only way i ever really remeber the good ish is to find it myself. ill tell people what i sample or whatever because even if i do tell them and they remember they still have to dig it up...
