Lets say that i want the volume on a track to be lower than the volume on my drum track, on the step seq. I know that by changing the value on the velocity Im able to control the volume but its kind of anoyying having to go one by one is there any possibble way I can do this only once so the value changes on every hit?

use velocity[in 16 levels mode] to begin wit so u dont have to go back and edit!

Go to mixer mode. There you can adjust the volume of each trackwith the data wheel.

Sorry for raining on your parade, but in the mixer mode, you dont adjust the volume of each TRACK. You actually adjust the volume of each PAD !! If you use more then one pad in a given track, you will have to adjust the volume of each pad that you use. Check it out.

Maybe it's possible to feed each pad of the track into the compressor and adjust the overall volume there. It's just an idea, i'm at my work so i can't check if it works.

I tried the next at home and this works:

route all the pads of the track you want to lower in volume to the compressor (in mixer mode). Set threshold to 0. Now you can control the overall volume of all the chosen pads with the compressor gain.
